Q. Do I need a computer to make and receive calls
A. Magictalk box does not require a computer to operate the phone connected to it. It uses a device, known as ATA, a low power unit that can stay on 24/7

Q. What does unlimited calls to US and Canada means?
A.  Unlimited call means, no per minute charge but monthly or yearly charge and calls are unlimited for the period of subscription.

Q. When you say failsafe to any power or Intenet interruption on incoming calls, what do you mean?
A. Magictalk box will automatically reroute all incoming calls to your designated number when power or internet is off or failure occur.

Q. How much power does it consume and can I always leave it on so that it works like a regular phone?
A.  It only uses 10 Watts of power and autovolt(100-240v).  That's 1/10 the power of a 100W lightbulb and less than half the power of an energy saving compact flourescent buld, whcih is typically 22.5W.  By contrast, leaving a computer on all the time takes 350W or more!

Q. How does Magic Talk Box differ from MagicJack or Skype?
A. The Magic Talk Box does not use a computer to make and receive calls.  In fact, it plugs directly to a LAN port in your router making it work independently from your computer. In addition, the Magic Talk Box has a line port where you can integrate your existing phone line with Magic Talk Box service. Have a lot more features than the MagicJack (see feature list)

Q. What do you mean when you say it integrates with my existing phone line?
A. You can connect Magic Talk Box Deluxe  to your existing phone line AND your internet connection.  Then plug any phone into the Magic Talk Box.  Using that same phone you can receive calls to your existing phone number and and make local calls like usual.  When you dial a number starting with 0 or 1, your call will be routed through our network.  Thiis way, you can reduce you current phone line package to the bare minimum. Emergency 911 available by going out your phone line.

Q. Do I have to connect Magic Talk Box to a regular phone line?
A. No, that is optional.  It can work by itself.
 
Q. Can I connect other extensions in the house to the Magic Talk Box?
A. Yes, up to a maximum of 3 to 4 without degrading the voice level when you simultaneously lift the handsets.

Q. Are there other fees aside from the 3, 6, or 12 months extension fee after the first 6 months?
A. No, there are no other fees. In fact, we will advise you after the first 6 months as to whether you should take or pay as you go or the unlimited whichever it would    be cheaper for you. For longer renewable fee go to Buy tab.

Q. How long can I continuously talk on your network?
A. We allow up to 90 minutes of continuous talk time. If you need to talk longer, all you need is to dial the number again.

Q.  In case the call is choppy or bad is there an alternate route to dial?
A. Yes, you can access our premium route where you will have to dial an extra 5 digit prefix. This is only in cases where the route is bad and has limited channels only.

Q. Can people call me on the Magic Talk Box line?
A. Yes, you will be assigned a phone number.  For the basic service, you get a 10 digit number and a 4 digit extension which the caller has to dial.  For the Deluxe service you get your own private 10 digit number.

Q. Can I chose my own phone number?
A.  Yes for the Magic Talk Box Deluxe.For the Standard, a multichannel US number in your state will be provided. To have a private number additional fee will be charge.

Q: What number will the people I call see on their Caller ID?
A: By default, it will show up as unknown. But we can set it to any U.S. phone number you own, if you send us proof of ownership such as a copy of your phone billl in your name.

Q. Can I "port" or transfer my existing phone number to Magic Talk Box service?

A. No, not at this time.

Q. What do you mean by integration magic Talk Box to your cell phone?
A. For the Deluxe model, we can make your cell phone an extension of your magictalkbox phone. Your cell phone will ring simultaneously with your magic talk box phone. You can even use the system to call out from your cell phone. 

Q. What is a Magic Talk Box Companion?
A. A magic talk box companion is similar to magicjack. It is installed in a wireless computer or your laptop to make and received call simultaneously with your magictalk box. It has the same extension or phone number as your magictalk box. WARNING: YOU CAN ONLY REGISTER 2 DEVICE AT A TIME. THE

THIRD AND UP WILL NOT WORK.

Q. Can I take the magic talk box to another country.

A. Yes, you call the box in the foreign country using the Shared US number and on the deluxe on their private number. All this is Free and Unlimited for the period of your subscription. From the foreign country they can also call the US and Canada for Free. In addition, you can call for FREE  other magictalkbox owners. Power is autovolt
